FAR 117 Tracker is designed to keep your information private by default.
This app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All flight time entries you log, and any schedule data you import, are stored locally on your device only.
Your flight log and imported schedule data never leave your device. The app does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, or any third-party tracking services.
The app loads standard open-source display libraries (for charts and PDF reading) from a content delivery network. These libraries do not collect or transmit any of your personal data.
If you use the "Sync from Calendar" feature, the app reads events directly from your device's Calendar app using Apple's EventKit framework, entirely on-device. This is used only to find your work schedule and extract flight times — nothing from your calendar is transmitted anywhere, stored remotely, or shared with any third party. You can review every event found before any data is added to your flight log, and you can revoke calendar access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
Since all data is stored locally, you can delete it at any time by removing individual entries within the app or by deleting the app itself.
